We made 100,000 seedlings by tissue culture, and they were placed in protected houses, then the permanent land to produce about one million banana trees that were planted along the Blue Nile in Al-Sabunabi, Abu Hajjar, Singa, Sennar, and Al-Qura And we planted the first experiment in the area of Deem Al-Mashaikha on 275 acres, which produced about 7,500 tons of bananas for the first time in the history of the country in 2005.
The picture was taken by Dr. Abd al-Salam in 2004 AD in al-Sabunabi, where the result of the crossbreeding was a giant tree 5 meters high and a banana skewer 1.25 meters long, containing 300 bananas and weighing 65 kg. The annual productivity of one feddan is about 30 tons. With the production of about 6000 new bananas seedlings. After this great project, the dwarfed short banana was transformed into the large banana, which gradually led to the extinction of the Dwarf Cavendish variety.
